However, it is highly recommended to rinse them afterwards with clean water (or jewellery cleaning solution if possible) to keep your jewellery lustrous, polished and to reduce any built-ups. However, 18k gold plated jewellery are recommended to be taken off before showering to keep the yellow gold color.
